Daewoo Diesel Generators
 Founded in 1937, Doosan-Daewoo Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. in Korea has made recognized achievements in the fields of diesel engines, grabs, vehicles, auto machine tools, robots, etc. At all times, the products have represented the development level of mechanical industry in Korea.
With regard to diesel engines, in 1958, it cooperated with Australia to produce watercraft engines; in 1975, it cooperated with B*W Man in Germany and launched Series D1146-P222LE heavy-duty diesel engines; in 1979, it cooperated with Isuzu in Japan and launched Series DC23-DB58 light-duty diesel engines. In 1990, it founded Daewoo Factory in Europe; in 1994, it founded Daewoo Heavy Industry (Yantai) Co., Ltd.; in 1996, it founded Daewoo Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. in Korea.
Daewoo diesel machineries have been widely used in national defense, aviation, vehicles, watercrafts, engineering machineries, generator sets.
The characteristics such as small volume, lightweight, high capability of anti sudden load increase, low noise, economical and reliable, etc. are recognized in the world.
In May, 2005, Doosan in Korea endured the shares remised by the Korean government and founded Doosan Infracore Co., Ltd. Doosan in Korea hopes to develop Doosan Infracore Co., Ltd. into an outstanding enterprise in ISB in the world.
It’s predefined objective is to become one of top five in heavy industry in the world.
